
On the Grind this week is Neo Soul artist Rayn. Rayn hails from San Diego, CA. Born and raised on the streets of south east San Diego and later moving to Richmond VA she gained her style in which she laces her tracks. She's bringing back real music, music with meaning and purpose, the music everyone can relate to. Rayn bringing good lyrics and story telling back in her music.
Rayn wants to work with the one and only Prince for the greatest callabo. Rayn says that she looks up to and respects Brandy Norwood. Outside of music Rayn is a co-host for Hot Talent Radio and the host for Mad Mob TV interviewing indie artist after they perform at the island cafe nw washington dc. Rayn says "Honestly I need more connects and possibly re locate from the dmv to a more artistic area. I don't think people would expect to hear dance music from me but I am very much interested in crossing over to the uk.." At the tender age of 26 Rayn is more determined than ever.
